Futsal End of Season Awards

Futsal end of season awards often go to smaller, close-knit squads. Teams play five-a-side on a hard court with a heavier, low-bounce ball, and squads rarely go much past fourteen players. Our glass awards are UV-printed in full colour with your club crest and up to four lines of text, which suits futsal clubs that want a proper, matching set without ordering dozens.

The futsal season in England

Senior futsal under the FA runs as a winter season, broadly September to April, with national tiers, regional leagues and a national cup. Junior futsal leagues and university futsal follow similar winter calendars, though some grassroots leagues run in blocks through the year.

Many futsal sections belong to a football club and hold their awards at the same presentation, usually in May or June. Standalone futsal clubs often prefer a smaller evening straight after their final fixture. Either way, "2025/26" is the natural season line.

Awards that reflect how futsal is played

The general awards are familiar from football: Player of the Season, Players' Player, Top Goalscorer and Most Improved. Futsal clubs often add awards that only make sense in this game. The goalkeeper is central to build-up play, so Goalkeeper of the Season carries more weight than in the 11-a-side game.

Some coaches award by position using futsal's own terms: Best Pivot for the target player, Best Fixo for the last defender and Best Ala for the wide players. They make good talking points on the night and show the club takes the game seriously.

Ordering for a futsal squad

With a squad of twelve to fourteen, five or six awards per team is plenty. The minimum order is five, so even a single team can order a full set. A club with junior age groups from under-9s upwards can put every team in one order, with Small awards at £8.99 for team awards and Large at £13.99 for the club's top honours.

Set up one design with your crest, then use Same crest, new name for every other winner. Delivery is a flat £10.00, however many awards go in. If your section shares a presentation with the football club, adding the futsal awards to the club's main order saves a second delivery charge.

Crests and wording

Futsal sections that grew out of football clubs often use the parent club's shield or roundel, sometimes with the word Futsal added. Standalone futsal clubs lean towards modern, continental-style badges with clean shapes, influenced by Spanish and Brazilian futsal. Both print well in full colour; upload the original file if your badge has fine lettering.

On the text lines, keep it clearly futsal: PLAYER OF THE SEASON, then "Futsal First Team" or "U14 Futsal" so the award is not confused with the club's 11-a-side awards, then the name and "2025/26".

Good to know

Questions

Should our awards say futsal if the club also plays 11-a-side?

It helps. Adding Futsal to the team line, such as U12 Futsal, keeps the award distinct from the football club's other awards on the same night, and players who do both will know exactly which one they have won.

What is a fly goalkeeper, and does it need its own award?

A fly goalkeeper means the team attacks with an extra outfield player, either the keeper pushing up or an outfield player taking the role, usually when chasing a game. It rarely needs its own award, but it shows why Goalkeeper of the Season matters in futsal.

Can we use the parent football club's crest?

Yes, as long as the club is happy for you to use it. Upload it as a PNG or JPG, ideally a transparent PNG, and it prints in full colour at the top of each award. Junior and senior futsal teams can share it.

Is five awards enough for a minimum order?

Five is the minimum, in any mix of Small at £8.99 and Large at £13.99. A single futsal squad usually needs five or six, so most teams meet it easily. Made in Cornwall and delivered within 7 days
