Gymnastics End of Season Awards

Gymnastics end of season awards often have to cover several disciplines under one roof, from artistic and trampoline squads to rhythmic, acro, TeamGym and a busy recreational programme. Many clubs present them at an annual display or a dedicated awards evening, when families come to watch. Our printed glass awards carry your club logo in full colour with up to four lines of text, so every squad and level can be recognised in the same order.

Timing your gymnastics awards

Gymnastics doesn't have a single season. Competitions run through most of the year, and each discipline has its own calendar of club, regional and national events. Clubs therefore choose their own point to mark the year, most often a summer display before the school holidays or a December showcase.

Whichever you choose, give yourself time to collect nominations from each coach. Larger clubs can have a dozen or more squads, and getting names and spellings checked is usually the slowest part.

Awards that suit a gymnastics club

Popular choices include gymnast of the year, most improved gymnast, coach's award, best newcomer and a competitive gymnast of the year for the strongest season of results. Many clubs also give a dedication or effort award, which matters in a sport where progress depends on hours of repetition, and an award for best attendance.

Recreational gymnasts deserve recognition too. A recreational gymnast of the year, or a star award for each class, means children who don't compete still go home with something. Coaches and judges can be thanked with a volunteer or service award.

Logos with movement

Gymnastics club logos often feature a stylised figure in a leap or handstand, curved lettering and bright colours such as purple, pink or teal. They print well in full colour at the top of the glass. If the figure is thin and delicate, upload the largest version of the file you have so the fine lines stay crisp. If your logo is white on a transparent background, we can add a dark backing panel.

Wording for squads and levels

Because the same title is often given in several squads, use one line to name the group. For example: GYMNAST OF THE YEAR, then the club name, then the gymnast's name, then a line such as TRAMPOLINE SQUAD or RECREATIONAL GIRLS. If your club works to an academic year, a season like 2025/26 fits naturally on the last line.

A typical order mixes large awards for the club-wide titles with small awards for each squad's coach's award and most improved. Set up the design once, add each name without uploading the logo again, or paste a full list for a class. The live on-screen mock-up shows how longer names will sit.

Questions

Can each discipline have a different title on the same award design?

Yes. Keep the same logo and layout, and change the title and squad lines for each award. Artistic, trampoline, rhythmic and recreational groups can all be included in one order of 5 or more, with small and large sizes mixed as you like.

We want to give every child in a recreational class an award. Is that practical?

It is. Use the bulk option to paste the class list and every award prints with its own name under the same title and logo. Small awards keep the cost down at £8.99 each.

Our logo has a very thin gymnast silhouette. Will it print clearly?

Fine detail prints best from a large, high resolution file, so upload the biggest version you have, ideally a transparent PNG. The live on-screen mock-up helps you judge how it will look before you order.

Should we put the competition level or grade on the award?

If the award is tied to a squad or level, adding it on one line helps the gymnast remember the year it marks. Keep it short, for example CLUB GRADE 3 or REGIONAL SQUAD, so the text stays a comfortable size.
