Swimming End of Season Awards
Swimming end of season awards are a little different from most sports, because swimming clubs train all year and the season is shaped by galas and championships rather than a league table. Most clubs mark the year with a presentation evening built around the club championships, with trophies for each age group and squad. Our printed glass awards carry your crest in full colour with up to four lines of text, which suits the long titles swimming tends to need.

How the swimming year fits together
For competitive swimmers the year runs through short course galas in the autumn and winter, county championships early in the year, regional championships in spring and long course meets over the summer. Club championships are often held in the autumn, and the presentation evening follows once results have been checked.
Because swimmers race in age groups based on age at a fixed date, usually 31 December, the club championships produce a lot of winners. A typical club might have boys' and girls' champions for each age band, plus open and masters categories.
Awards swimming clubs give
Alongside age group champions, most clubs choose a swimmer of the year, a most improved swimmer, a coach's award for each squad and an award for best attendance or commitment. Some add a top points scorer from the inter-club league galas, a best newcomer for swimmers moving up from learn-to-swim, and a masters swimmer of the year.
If your club has open water, diving or water polo sections, they usually want their own award too. A volunteer award for officials and timekeepers is well worth including, since no gala runs without them.
Crests and logos in swimming
Swimming club logos are often roundels or shields with waves, a swimmer silhouette or a local landmark, usually in blues and aquas. Many newer clubs use a wide wordmark instead. Both work: we print the logo in its own colours at the top of the glass, and a wide wordmark simply sits across the full width. If your logo is white on transparent, we can add a dark backing panel behind it.
Wording for age groups and events
Swimming titles get long quickly, so split them across lines. Line one can carry the title, CLUB CHAMPION, with the age band such as GIRLS 11-12 YEARS on the next line, followed by the swimmer's name and the season. For individual event trophies, a line like 200M BACKSTROKE reads well.
Many clubs order small awards for each age group champion and large awards for swimmer of the year and the coaches' choices, all in one order. Set up the design once, then add each name without uploading the crest again, or paste in your full results list. The live on-screen mock-up shows exactly how each line will sit.

We have dozens of age group champions. Is there a quick way to order?
Yes. Create one design with your crest and the CLUB CHAMPION title, then use the bulk option to paste the list of swimmer names. You can change the age band line for each one, and mix small and large awards freely in the same order.
Should the award show the season or the year?
It depends on how your club runs its championships. Clubs that hold them in a single calendar year often just use the year, while clubs that think in terms of a September to summer season use something like 2025/26.
Can we include a time on the award?
You can. Many clubs add the winning time to the name line or the final line, for example 1:08.42. Keep it short so it stays legible alongside the swimmer's name and age group.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 5 awards. Small awards are £8.99 each and large awards are £13.99 each, with a flat £10.00 delivery charge per order however many you buy.
