Netball End of Season Awards

Netball end of season awards usually come round in late spring, when the league season that started in September wraps up in April or May. For a club with several adult teams, a junior section and perhaps a Back to Netball group, the presentation evening is a big occasion to organise. Our glass awards are UV-printed in full colour with your club logo and made in Cornwall, so every team can share one consistent design.

How the netball year shapes the awards night

Most local and county leagues run from early autumn through to spring, with a break over Christmas. Many clubs then hold the presentation evening in May or June, sometimes after a summer league has started, so the awards often land in the gap between the two.

Junior sections may follow a slightly different calendar, especially if they play in tournaments rather than a league. Check whether juniors and seniors want a joint evening or a separate afternoon event before you plan one order or two.

Awards a netball club typically presents

Each team commonly has a players' player, a coaches' award and a most improved player. Larger clubs add player of the season, shooter of the season and defender of the season, reflecting how specialised netball positions are. Club-wide honours might include young player of the season and volunteer or umpire of the year.

A squad is usually ten to twelve players, and three or four awards per team is common. A club with four adult teams and three junior groups can comfortably need twenty or more, which is worth knowing before you set the budget.

Netball logos and how they print

Netball club logos are often more modern than traditional crests: a ball, a bold wordmark or a simple icon in the club colours. Wide wordmarks print well, though they sit smaller at the top of the award than a square badge would, so the Large portrait block gives them a little more presence.

Upload the original artwork as a transparent PNG if you can. Many netball clubs have a white version of the logo for dresses and hoodies; if that is the one you upload, we can add a dark backing panel behind it so it shows up clearly on the glass.

Getting the wording right

Put the award title on line one, the club name on line two, the player's name on line three and the team and season on line four. Netball seasons cross two years, so 2025/26 reads more accurately than a single year. Team names such as Div 2, Seniors or U14 Red fit well on that last line.

Most clubs do not print playing positions on team awards, because players rotate. Keep positions for awards that are actually about them, such as SHOOTER OF THE SEASON.

Planning and ordering

A common approach is Small square awards at £8.99 for team honours and Large portrait awards at £13.99 for player of the season or a club-wide award. Sizes and designs mix freely in one order, and the minimum is five.

Upload the logo once, then add each name with the same logo or paste in the full list of winners. Delivery is a flat £10.00 per order whatever the quantity, so collecting every team's winners before ordering keeps things simple.

Questions

Can each team have a different award title on the same order?

Yes. Designs can be mixed freely, so your Div 1 team can have players' player and coaches' award while juniors have most improved and player of the season. You upload the logo once and change the text for each award.

Our logo is white. Will it show on clear glass?

If your logo is white on a transparent background, we can add a dark backing panel behind it so it stands out. Upload the transparent PNG version and the design view will show how it looks on the award before you order.

Should the award show 2025/26 or just one year?

As netball leagues usually run from September to April or May, most clubs print the split season, such as 2025/26. If your awards are for a summer league or a one-day tournament, a single year or the event name reads better.

How long will our order take?

Made in Cornwall and delivered within 7 days Delivery is a flat £10.00 per order, so it is worth waiting until every team's winners are known and ordering them together, while still leaving time before the presentation evening.
