Rugby League End of Season Awards
Rugby league end of season awards need to work for a club that may run an open-age side, a string of junior teams from under-7s upwards, a women's team and perhaps a masters group, all on slightly different calendars. Our printed glass awards carry your crest in its own colours with up to four lines of text, so one order can cover the whole club, from the first team's player of the year to every child in the under-8s.

When rugby league clubs hold their awards
Since the professional game moved to a summer season, much of the community game has followed, with many open-age leagues playing from spring through to early autumn. Those clubs tend to hold their presentation evening in October or November, once the play-offs and cup finals are done.
Junior and youth rugby league is less uniform. Depending on your area and league, junior sections may play through the summer or keep a traditional winter season, which pushes their presentation day to late spring. If your club runs both, it is worth deciding early whether you hold one combined night or two separate events.
The awards a rugby league club usually gives
For open-age sides the core set is player of the year, players' player, coaches' player and young player of the year, followed by top try scorer and top points scorer, which usually rewards the goal kicker. Many clubs add a forward and a back of the year, a best newcomer and a clubman or clubwoman award for whoever kept the bar, the kit and the minibus running.
Primary rugby league for the youngest age groups is about development rather than results, so many clubs give every child an award with their own name on it. Older junior teams usually switch to a smaller set: coaches' player, players' player and most improved.

Crests, nicknames and colours
Plenty of rugby league clubs in the north of England carry a town badge or a nickname mascot such as a bull, lion or wolf, often in bold, traditional club colours. Because we print in full colour, the crest comes out in your own club colours rather than as a plain outline. Upload the largest file you have. If your crest is white on a transparent background, we can add a dark backing panel so it shows up on the glass.
Wording and ordering for a squad
A simple layout works well: award title on line one, club name on line two, player name on line three and team plus season on line four, such as OPEN AGE or U14 GIRLS. Summer-season sides usually put the single year; winter junior sections often use a season like 2025/26.
Most clubs choose the large size for headline open-age awards and small for squad and junior awards, mixing both in one order. Once the crest is uploaded, add each extra name without uploading it again, or paste the whole junior squad list in one go. The live on-screen mock-up shows each award at the right angle as you type.

Questions
Can we give every child in our primary age groups an award?
Yes. Set up one design with your crest and a title such as PLAYER AWARD, then paste the full list of names using the bulk option. Each award prints with its own name, and you can mix in large awards for the senior team in the same order.
Our junior section plays winter and our open-age team plays summer. Can we order separately?
Yes. Each order just needs to be at least 5 awards, so the junior section can order in spring and the open-age side in autumn. You can keep the same crest and title wording for both so the club's awards match.
How do we show top try scorer and top points scorer totals?
Put the award title on line one and add the total to the name line or the last line, for example 18 TRIES or 112 POINTS. Keep it short so the text stays a comfortable size on the glass.
How long does delivery take?
Made in Cornwall and delivered within 7 days Delivery is a flat £10.00 per order whatever the quantity, so it makes sense to put the whole club's awards into one order where the dates allow.
