Squash End of Season Awards

Squash end of season awards have to reward two kinds of player: the ones who turn out for county league teams all winter and the ones who climb the box leagues or ladder month after month. Most clubs bring both together with their club championships and a presentation at the end of the season. Our printed glass awards carry your crest in full colour with up to four lines of text for each winner.

When squash clubs present their awards

County league squash generally runs from September to April, with teams of four or five players meeting midweek. Internal box leagues and ladders often run all year in monthly or six-weekly rounds, so they need a cut-off date for the season's awards.

Club championships tend to be played in spring, with finals night giving the club a natural occasion for presentations. Others wait for the annual general meeting or a summer social.

A typical squash awards list

Most clubs start with the club champion, a ladies' champion and a plate winner from the players knocked out in the first round. A handicap championship lets players of any standard compete on level terms, and masters titles such as over-45s and over-55s reflect the age profile of many squash clubs.

For league players, a team player of the year or a captain's award for each county team works well. Box league or ladder winners are often recognised at the end of the season for the best overall record. If your club runs racketball, it usually deserves its own champion. Junior sections tend to present age group champions and a most improved junior.

Crests at multi-sport clubs

Many squash courts sit within larger clubs alongside tennis, cricket or rugby, and the section often uses the parent club's crest. Those crests can be older and detailed, with fine lettering, so upload the largest, sharpest file you can find. Standalone squash clubs more often have a simple modern logo built around a racket, ball or court lines. Either way the crest prints in full colour at the top of the glass, and a white logo can sit on a dark backing panel.

Wording advice for squash

Keep titles direct: CLUB CHAMPION, PLATE WINNER or OVER-45S CHAMPION on line one, the club or section name on line two, the player on line three and the season on line four. For a squash section within a bigger club, line two might read SQUASH SECTION under the parent club's crest.

Box league awards can include a short record, such as WON 22 LOST 3, on the final line. Small awards suit plate and box league winners, with large for the club champions. Mix both in one order, add names without uploading the crest again, and check each one in the live on-screen mock-up.

Questions

Can our squash section use the main club's crest?

Yes. Upload the main club crest as a PNG or JPG, ideally a transparent PNG, and use line two for SQUASH SECTION or the section name. The crest prints in its own colours, so it will match the rest of the club.

How should we recognise box league winners?

Many clubs give an award to the player with the best overall record across the season, with the title BOX LEAGUE WINNER and a short record line. Others give one to each box winner from the final round. Both fit easily in a single order.

Can we order awards for masters age groups?

Yes. Put the age category in the title, for example OVER-55S CHAMPION, or use line one for the title and add the category to the season line. Each award can carry different text, with the same crest throughout.

What is the smallest order we can place?

The minimum is 5 awards, mixed across sizes and designs as you like. Small awards are £8.99 each, large awards are £13.99 each, and delivery is a flat £10.00 per order.
