Netball Coaches' Award
The netball coaches' award is the coach's personal pick from the season. Unlike a players' vote, it can reward the things a coach sees from the side of the court and at training: commitment, attitude, willingness to play out of position and taking feedback on board. Because it is so personal, it works best when the coach can explain exactly why the winner was chosen.

Netball end of season awards: what a coach is looking for
Coaches see the full picture over a season. They know who never missed training, who agreed to play goal keeper when the regular one was injured, and who worked on their footwork until the stepping calls stopped.
The coaches' award is often given for exactly those qualities rather than for match performance. It sends a message to the rest of the squad about what the club values, so think about what you want to encourage next season when you choose the winner.
Making the decision
Where a team has a head coach and an assistant, decide together and agree it well before the presentation. Some coaches keep brief notes through the season, which help when it comes to writing a few words for the night.
Avoid giving it to the same player as the players' player unless the case is overwhelming. Two different winners means two players recognised, and the coaches' award is a good place for someone the vote might overlook.
It also helps to look past the starting seven. A bench player who came on for one quarter each week without complaint, and worked as hard in training as anyone, is exactly the kind of player the coaches' award exists for.

In junior netball
In junior sections, especially in High 5 netball for younger children where players rotate through positions, the coaches' award is often the main individual honour. Coaches may give one per squad, or one per training group.
For juniors, line four works well with the age group and season, such as U11 2025/26. Use the child's full name as the family would want it to appear, since the award will often sit on a bedroom shelf for years.
Wording and ordering
COACHES' AWARD fits easily on line one. If there is only one coach, COACH'S AWARD is the correct form, and some clubs prefer COACH'S PLAYER OF THE SEASON. Line two is the club name and line three the winner.
The Small square block at £8.99 each is the usual size for a team-level award. Add every coach's winner to one order using the same logo, mix in Large awards at £13.99 for the club-wide honours, and delivery stays at a flat £10.00.
For large, mixed-ability squads, some coaches give one coaches' award per training group, which keeps it meaningful in a big section.

Questions
Should it be coaches' award or coach's award?
Coach's award if one coach chooses it, coaches' award if a coaching team decides together. Line one is your own text, so you can print whichever suits each team, even within the same order.
Can the coaches' award go to the same player as players' player?
It can, but many coaches prefer to recognise a different player, since two winners means two people feel valued. If one player clearly earned both, there is no rule against it.
Can we add a short reason to the award?
You have up to four lines, so a short phrase such as For Commitment on line four is possible if you drop the season or merge it. Keep it brief so the text stays a good size. The design view shows straight away how it fits.
How long does delivery take?
Made in Cornwall and delivered within 7 days Coaches usually decide in the final weeks of the league, so ordering soon after the last match leaves comfortable time before the presentation evening.
