Junior End of Season Awards for Every Age Group
Junior end of season awards are usually the biggest single order a club places all year. A football or rugby club with teams from under-7s to under-18s can need dozens of awards, with one for every child in the younger age groups and a few headline awards in each older team. This page covers how to organise that order without mistakes, and what to put on awards for different ages.

Every child, or a few winners?
Most clubs give every player in the youngest age groups an award, and many keep doing so until under-11s or under-12s. Mini rugby, younger junior football and junior netball focus on taking part and improving, so a named award for each child fits that approach. From around under-12s, clubs usually add player of the season, most improved and players' player for each team, while still giving the rest of the squad a small award. Plan your end of season awards so that every age group has wording that suits the players and their achievements.
Swimming, athletics and gymnastics clubs often work by age band or squad rather than team, with awards for most improved, best newcomer or club championship winners in each group.
Organising a club-wide order
The junior section co-ordinator usually collects a list from each team's coach. Ask for full names spelled exactly as the family would want, the age group as it should appear, and which children are getting headline awards. A shared spreadsheet with one row per award saves a lot of checking later.
Design one award with your crest, then use the same crest, new name option for each child, or paste each team's list in with the bulk option. Small awards at £8.99 suit squad awards, with Large at £13.99 for the headline award in each team.

Wording by age
For the youngest players, keep it warm and simple: line one PLAYER AWARD or a named award, line two the team, such as U8 TIGERS, line three the child's name and line four the season, like 2025/26. Children this age love seeing their own name and team. For teenagers, use proper titles they will want on a shelf: PLAYERS' PLAYER, TOP TRY SCORER or U16 GIRLS PLAYER OF THE SEASON.
Check every name on screen before adding it to the basket. A misspelt name on a child's first award is the mistake parents remember. If two children in a squad share a first name, use full names on every award in that team, not just theirs.
Timing for junior presentations
Junior football and rugby presentations tend to cluster in May and June, junior cricket and athletics in September, and netball and hockey junior sections in spring at the end of the winter league. Book the venue first, then work back and close the name lists early, because late joiners and squad changes are the usual cause of last-minute stress.

Questions
Can every child's award have a different name?
Yes. Every award in an order can carry its own name and team. After the first design, add names one by one with the same crest, or paste a whole squad list using the bulk option to save typing them all out.
Can we put the age group and team name on the same line?
Yes, for example U10 LIONS or U14 GIRLS. Keep it short so it reads well under the crest. If your club has several teams in one age group, include the team name so awards do not get mixed up on the night.
Can different age groups have different award titles in one order?
Yes. Designs can be mixed freely, so an under-7s participation award, an under-15s player of the season and an under-18s top scorer can all go in one order with the same crest and a mix of sizes.
How long will a large junior order take?
Made in Cornwall and delivered within 7 days Delivery is a flat £10.00 per order whatever the quantity, so placing one club-wide order covering every age group is usually the simplest and cheapest approach for a junior section.
