Corporate Golf Day Prizes

Corporate golf day prizes are often the last thing an events or marketing team sorts out, after the course booking, the catering and the guest list. Personalised glass awards printed with your company logo, or the logo of a client or sponsor, make the prize table look planned rather than picked up on the way to the venue. Each block is printed in full colour in Cornwall, and you can mix sizes and titles across one order.

The prizes a company golf day usually gives

Most corporate days are played as a team format, often a Texas scramble or a team Stableford, because it keeps mixed-ability fourballs moving and gives guests who rarely play a fair chance. That means the main prize is normally a winning team award for each of the four players, plus runners-up if the field is large. Clubs can combine golf-day prizes and end of season awards in the same order, with different wording for each event.

Around that sit the novelty prizes on nominated holes: nearest the pin on a par 3, longest drive on a wide par 4 or 5, and sometimes straightest drive. Some hosts add best individual score, best guest score, or a lighthearted booby prize for the team at the bottom of the board.

Planning numbers for the prize table

For a field of several fourballs, a common set is four large awards for the winning team, four small for the runners-up, and one small each for nearest the pin and longest drive. If you run nearest the pin on two holes, order one per hole and name the hole on the award, for example NEAREST THE PIN with 7th Hole underneath.

The minimum order is 5, so even a modest day with team winners and two novelty prizes reaches it easily. Delivery is a flat £10.00, so adding a spare for the host or the sponsor costs nothing extra in postage.

Whose logo goes on the award

Unlike a club trophy, a corporate prize can carry the host company's logo, the event's own branding or a sponsor's mark. Pick one and keep it consistent across the set. Wide corporate wordmarks print well but sit lower in height at the top of the face, so check the balance against the text as you type.

Ask your design or marketing team for a transparent PNG at the largest size they hold. Brand logos are often supplied in white for dark backgrounds. If that is the version you have, choose the dark backing panel, or ask for the full-colour version instead.

Wording without the winners' names

You will not know who has won until the cards are checked, so most hosts order without names. Use line 1 for the prize, line 2 for the event name such as Annual Client Golf Day, line 3 for the course and line 4 for the year. The awards are then ready to present at dinner the moment the scores are confirmed.

If the day is an annual fixture, keep the layout the same each time so returning guests recognise the prizes, changing only the year.

Questions

Can we put our company logo on the prizes instead of a golf club crest?

Yes. The image at the top can be any logo you have the right to use: your company logo, an event logo or a sponsor's. Upload it as a PNG or JPG, with a transparent PNG giving the cleanest full-colour print.

Should we order corporate golf prizes with names on?

Usually not. Results are only confirmed once the last group is in, often during the meal. Printing the prize title, event name, course and year means every award is ready to hand out straight away without waiting on a scorecard.

What is a Texas scramble?

A team format where every player tees off, the team picks the best shot, and everyone plays their next shot from that spot, repeating until the ball is holed. It keeps play quick and suits mixed-ability corporate fields, which is why the winning team prize is usually the main award.

Can we get a quote or invoice for our finance team first?

Ordering is online and paid by card at checkout, so there is no separate quote. Prices are fixed at £8.99 for a small award and £13.99 for a large one, with flat delivery of £10.00, which makes the total easy to budget in advance.
