Football Players' Player of the Season Award
The football players' player of the season award is the one chosen by the people who share the dressing room. Many players value it above everything else on the night, because it comes from teammates who saw every training session and every tough away game. Our glass version is UV-printed in full colour, with the club crest at the top and the winner's name underneath.

Football end of season awards: why the squad's vote matters
Managers see a game from the touchline. Players see it from the pitch: who covered for a teammate, who kept talking when the team was three down, who turned up for training in January. The players' player often rewards the player who makes everyone else better, and it is not always the most eye-catching name.
Because the vote belongs to the squad, it tends to sit alongside the manager's choice rather than overlap with it, and it is not unusual for the two to go to different people.
Running a fair vote
Keep it simple and private. Hand out slips after the last league match, or use a short online form, and ask each player to name their top three. Scoring three points for first, two for second and one for third smooths out the effect of mates voting for mates.
Agree beforehand that nobody can vote for themselves, and have someone outside the squad, such as the secretary, count the votes. Keep the result quiet until the presentation evening so the moment is not spoiled.
Decide too who gets a vote. Most clubs include every registered player who made a set number of appearances, so a squad member who played twice in September does not swing the result. Injured players who still came to training and matches usually keep their vote, which is fair, as they saw the season from the sideline. If the count is tied, the simplest answer is joint winners rather than a recount or a casting vote.

Getting the apostrophe right
This is the award where wording mistakes are most common. The award comes from all the players, so the apostrophe goes after the s: PLAYERS' PLAYER. PLAYER'S PLAYER would mean one player's choice, which is not what you want printed on glass.
The full title, PLAYERS' PLAYER OF THE SEASON, is long. Many clubs shorten line one to PLAYERS' PLAYER and let the season line, such as 2025/26, do the rest. The live mock-up shows how each version sits on the block before you order.
Size and ordering
Clubs split on size. Some treat it as a headline award and choose the large block at £13.99; others keep large blocks for player of the season and use a small block at £8.99 here. Either is fine, as long as you are consistent across teams.
If several sides each run their own vote, every team's winner can go in one order with the same crest and a different team and name line.

Questions
Can a player who missed half the season still win?
That is up to the squad. Some clubs set a minimum number of appearances to be eligible, others leave it entirely open. Decide before voting starts so nobody can argue about it afterwards.
Do junior teams run a players' player vote?
Older junior squads, from around under-13s, often do, and it can work well. With younger children the vote can become a popularity contest, so many coaches choose a coach's award instead at those ages.
What goes on the four lines?
A typical layout is PLAYERS' PLAYER on line one, the club name on line two, the winner's name on line three and the season on line four. All four lines are optional.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, 5 awards per order. You can mix the players' player in with your other awards, in any combination of small at £8.99 and large at £13.99, with flat £10.00 delivery.
